Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she took flute lessons and harpsichord for three years. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox started out as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. Between 1977 and 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. The album was released in the year 1992. It was a huge success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera a collection comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let you go... art installation, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland is a philanthropist and an activist in the political arena. She sings. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. Later, Lennox was joined by the band with fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in 1992. The album was the inspiration of several hit songs, including Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of tracks.
